Our Township is nestled between fertile farms and the Federal Pinelands Natural Reserve in Burlington County, New Jersey. Located 30 minutes from Philadelphia and 45 minutes from the Jersey shore, our Township serves as the hub of business and culture for this region. Unlike many communities, Medford has not lost its’ “soul” to the suburban sprawl which has consumed many of New Jersey’s towns.
Sq. Miles
Medford has a bustling Village area, where unique shops and restaurants line our original and historic “Main Street.” The residential areas in Medford have been created with respect for the woodlands, streams and lakes surrounding us. Homes of log cabins, Victorian estates and contemporary facades dot the landscape

Here you can stroll the brick sidewalks lined with old-fashioned gas lights and shade trees, take a turn around the block to explore Victorian-era homes or rest your feet at one of the many fine eateries. Medford features a variety of restaurants, from historic, four-star Braddock’s Tavern, ITA101 and The Pop Shop on Main Street, to Harvest Coffee just around the corner on Bank Street. And of course Medford's two new micro-breweries on Main, Lower Forge Brewery and The Nale House Brewery. Medford offers mid-priced establishments to suit every taste in close proximity throughout the Township.

Medford was recently selected as an Associate Member of the Main Street NJ-USA Program.
